This is the kind of store that has something for everyone no matter who you are or what you like. All the products available are beautifully packaged and displayed. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The best place to get something different and unique, made locally which is always nice to see. There is no pressure , you can browse to your heart's content. But that's just part of it...Magickal Gems also offer different healing sessions and workshops which I have yet to explore before I can post feedback. In the meantime, seriously visit Magickal Gems ..it definitely lives up to that name

Good store. Solid atmosphere, quite cozy in terms of the orientation of the objects in the space. If you’re looking for esoteric literature, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to up for it than here. Roxanne was quite welcoming and engaging in her conversation. Noteworthy shop for anybody interested in esoterica, sustainable fashion, smudges, accessories, ornaments etc…
Would definitely visit again. A hidden gem in the labyrinth that is Cape Town.

The most Magickal shop, the smell calling you in from the street and as you step inside, it's like a sigh of ah, I've arrived, I can be. Allowing yourself to get lost, and always finding something to take home. ❤️

Truly one of the finest esoteric shops in Cape Town! The great thing about the Magickal Gem is that there are also services available - like tarot readings, reiki, acupuncture, sports massage, all kinds of things. So it’s really not just about the supplies; it’s also how to use them and apply the magick in real life. There’s so much to see, and it’s great for gift shopping too (and festival stuff if you’re that kind of person). And the team that works there is the best!

I recently completed my Reiki Level 2 training at Magickal Gem, and it was such a beautiful, transformative experience. The space felt incredibly safe, grounding, and welcoming from the moment I arrived.

This store has a grounding atmosphere. The staff were friendly and warm. They have a really good collection of esoteric books aswell as reiki infused spells. Highly recommend!

I did my Reiki 2 and Reiki Advanced with Phillippa - and I must say, she goes above and beyond with her research and notes on Reiki. I can be a bit of a nerd with research and I enjoyed all the extra insight and ways that other modalities and teachings overlap with the Reiki information. From what some other students said - as a few were redoing and refreshing some of their levels with Phillippa - is that they received more layers of insight and tools with Phillippa than with their previous trainings with other Reiki Masters.
The attention and care she gives to everybody in her trainings, as well as her Master students training and teaching under her is very admirable. She’s got a true heart of a healer. I highly recommend Phillippa as your Reiki Master should you feel the calling to be a practitioner.

Beautiful place, lovely people, and amazing atmosphere. Everything I could've asked for in this hidden Gem. Incencse, Tarot, Orcale cards and readings, crystals and more . Any questions I had were awnsered with patience and assistance. Super happy to shop here and will be back!🌟

The best place in all of Cape Town!! The magic and and wonder ooze and radiate out of everything and everyone of this magnificent space!! Best place to get crystals, incents, esoteric books, essential oils, wands, potions, tinctures, sacred medicines, tarot decks etc. The most amazing healers and practitioners of all sorts! It is the most magical place of Capetown.
