Care Guide

Store your candle upright or lying flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can fade the colour and soften the wax. Before lighting, trim the wick to around 5 mm and set the candle firmly in a heatproof holder on a stable, non-flammable surface.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it well away from curtains, draughts, children and pets. Hand-dipped candles can drip more freely than moulded ones, so a dish or drip tray beneath the holder is recommended. Many practitioners prefer to extinguish ritual candles with a snuffer rather than blowing them out.
