THE COLLECTIVE
We’re living in a time where collective consciousness is rising. There has always been some form of collective consciousness since the beginning of time — we’re just more receptive to it now. With spiritual practices rising and people learning to be more in tune with the collective energy of the world, it also comes with the united struggles of the world. Most of us are currently facing the same challenge, whether it be internal or external — the fact of what is happening is real… so let’s talk about it.
What is it that we are facing? Well, the past seems to be haunting us. Recurring patterns, whether we’re aware of them or not, are showing up in our lives. I pulled a few cards from a beautiful deck for this writing specifically — to guide us through this journey of collective struggle. We can’t seem to let go of the past — of what we may have done or who we used to be. Why? Do we think it’s too much of a burden to share, to have others hear about our endless complaints of what is happening in our world? Well, your burden might just be a collective burden the world has been carrying for far too long. It’s keeping you stuck.
Just let it go. This way, you can move freely. Remember that your power comes from the source of all things. Don’t give your connection to that power away for the mere fact that you’re scared to accept it — to take accountability for what is and release something that happened exactly as it should have happened. We can’t control the way the world works or the ever-flowing current of Source — but we can control how much we hold on to, or let go of.
Grief can be a big reason why we can’t let go. We keep ourselves attached to the “what if.” What if it happened that way? What if I had only said this? But it happened, and we can’t change that. Paradoxically, we are living in an ever-changing world, and loss is inevitable. If we don’t lose, we can never grow — and in turn, evolve. We would just stay stuck in the same ways of being, and how boring would life then be?
How beautiful the unknown is… the endless possibilities that lay before us — possibilities we can only reach by letting go of the things and parts of ourselves that hold us down. And this does not mean we have to release these things from a space of hate or judgment. Remember, everything has happened just as it was meant to. All we can do is move with love.
Love is the force that binds all and moves us through this very seemingly difficult world. A quote from the oracle deck says, “The soul journeys through the physical realm for its own joy.” So why are we all so miserable?
Well, I can say that miracles happen every day right in front of us. We’re just so caught up in the misery of the small bubbles we’ve created for ourselves that we overlook the smile a stranger gave us, or the little ant friend that came to say hello while we were drinking our morning coffee. Why does it always have to be a massive miracle for us to notice the beauty of life?
Life is a wonderful and magickal experience — and we need to learn to grab life by the labia and give her a good fuck. Allow yourself to give pleasure to the world you create for yourself — otherwise, what is the point?
A book I read once said that having something to believe in keeps a person motivated to continue pushing through life’s struggles. But why do we always talk about belief as something that only helps us through hardship? Why not have faith in a greater force to motivate you to become a better version of yourself — or to create something magnificent?
We don’t have to be unrealistic about our lives and spiritual practices, but we do have to do something with ourselves. Be curious about who you are, who you can be, and what you can birth by being fully and truthfully connected to yourself. Being truly authentic is being truly connected.
Because as within, so without; as above, so below; and as you are — so it shall be.
So go run wild and naked in a field if that’s what livens your spirit and makes you truly feel pure bliss. We don’t have to sit for two hours a day in complete silence for the sake of spirituality. If that works for you, do it. I’m not here to tell you what to do or what not to do. I’m here to share what I know — as a person who happens to have been lingering around in the collective and happened to pick up on this message I’m now telling you.
So, with all that said, the point I’m trying to make is that we don’t have to overcomplicate our lives or abide by rules people set up because they thought it would work for everyone. All we need to do is be — fully, truthfully, and openly. Allow the current of life to move through you. Allow the mistakes. Allow the challenges. And then — let it go. Don’t hold on.
We come into this world with nothing and we leave with nothing. So let it go and just be. Feel everything fully and don’t be ashamed to do exactly what you feel is right for you — because only you know exactly who you are, where you need to be, and how you need to lead your life.
It’s the paradox of not knowing anything — because, in truth, you already know everything. You feel it.
So listen.
