What is Reiki?
Reiki is a simple yet profound healing technique channelled by Mikao Usui to help someone heal the body, mind and spirit to a state of wholeness and balance, producing a higher vibratory frequency which raises the vibratory level of the planet as a whole. Reiki demonstrates tangibly and visibly that we can effect changes in conditions. It shows us what we need to learn about ourselves, what we need to change about ourselves and what we can control in ourselves.
With these teachings and attunement, you become more aware of life and energy operating on all planes and dimensions within us and around us. Reiki, when translated, means soul energy, mysterious spirit or spiritually guided life force.
What is the difference between Reiki and Energy Healing?
All energy healers use life force or Ki, but not all use Reiki. Reiki is a special life force that can only be channelled through attunements by a Reiki Master. People who already do healing work observe an increase in the strength of their healing energies after taking the Reiki training .
What is an Attunement?
The attunement opens the Crown, Heart and Palm Chakras and creates a special link between students and the Reiki source. The process is guided by the Rei or God-consciousness and makes adjustments in the process depending on the needs of each student. The attunement is attended by the Reiki guides and Karmic patterns are released with the attunement, which can only be received through a Reiki Master. Once you have received a Reiki attunement, you will have Reiki for the remainder of your life. It does not wear off and you cannot lose it. One attunement is all you need for each level to be attuned to Reiki. These benefits include refinement of the Reiki energy one is channeling, increased strength of the energy, healing of personal problems, clarity of mind, increased psychic sensitivity and a raised level of consciousness.
